I was born in Los Angles, California, where I grew up and graduated from high school. I came to Utah to attend BYU. I graduated from there and did a great deal of traveling. I spent 6 months in Israel where I worked on a banana plantation in a Kibbutz. I traveled around the Middle East and Europe for a while and then returned to the U.S. and started a teaching kindergarten in 1981 in Manila, Utah. I taught for one year, got married, and then started raising my family. I have 5 children: 4 sons and 1 daughter, and stayed home and enjoy being a mother. In 2005 I began teaching kindergarten again at Urie Elementary, where I have taught since then. I double love the kids I teach and enjoy working with the great staff here. My hobbies are mowing the lawn, riding my bike, being with my family and especially my adorable grand kids.
