Uinta County School District #6 is committed to maximum accomplishment through learning, flexibility, and and acceptance. We recognize each learner as an individual and strive to see that each student is demonstrating growth in all academic areas. We strive to meet students where they are in their learning and to provide support and resources to help them reach higher levels of achievement.
We want to do all that we can to help students to be prepared for life after high school. We are continually adding more classes that lead to post-secondary degrees and certifications. Students graduating from Lyman High School have the opportunity to earn up to 30 post-secondary credits; many of which lead to degrees and/or certifications.
Of course we want to provide a learning environment that is safe and respectful. We have conducted school safety audits with the Wyoming Department of Homeland Security. Our facilities are safe places for people to learn and work. We are improving our safety plans so that they use common language across all buildings in the district.
Above all, we want to work closely with parents, community members, and others to provide a world class education to the students in Lyman. We have a great team of administrators, teachers, and classified staff who care deeply about the students we serve. Please feel free to contact any member of the faculty or staff if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments.
I am honored to be a part of a learning system that puts kids first and is always seeking ways for improvement.
